The mill replaced a mill at another spot, built in 1727. That mill was badly built ( See db 71). On 9th November 1787 the new mill was ready. On 10 November the mill was handed over to Damiano Xicluna. He was the son of Marcello Xicluna of the mill in Xaghra. He later migrated to Malta. He married Maria Vella in Qrendi on 28 September 1807. In the mid of the 19th century the 3 Camilleri brothers owned the nill. Nice shell. Near Kenuna Tower of 1848 . This was the telegraph tower and a link between Malta and Gozo. Can be seen on the whole island of Gozo.
